My approach

Many of us experience stressors at various crossroads in our lives. My name is Gillian, and I am a clinical therapist and an art therapist with specialized training in supporting the fertility journey, perinatal and postpartum issues, women's issues, mood disorders and anxiety, life transitions, and relationship stressors. And I am a career changer with specific experience in helping to navigate corporate burnout. My aim is to help you develop skills that will serve you as you navigate difficulties in the present, fears of the future and memories of the past.

Life can be hard. Sometimes we can’t find the right words to describe our feelings. As an art therapist, I can guide you toward a better understanding of yourself and to a place of hope, working with art when words are not enough. As a licensed clinician, I am also well versed in talk therapy, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions to help people connect to the present moment.

My Experience

As a person with my own lived experience in many of these stressors, I know what it is like to feel like you’re on an island with no practical supports.
